Privacy Policy
Georgia Roofing Hub ("we", "us") connects Georgia homeowners with independent roofing contractors. This policy explains what we collect when you use georgiaroofinghub.com and our partner portal (the "Service"), how we use it, and who we share it with. We do not sell your personal information.
Information we collect
Homeowners. When you request quotes or create an account: your name, phone number and email; your property address and project details (service, home and roof details, timeline, insurance claim status); optional roof photos; the inspection times you choose; messages and questions; reviews you post; and your sign-in details (email and password, or your Google account). Photos are resized in your browser and their embedded location data is removed before upload.
Roofers. Company name, contact name, phone, email, license number, certifications, service areas and services, insurance and license documents you send us, inspection availability, quotes, job notes and photos you post.
Payments. Homeowner card payments are processed by Stripe. Roofer payout details (bank account, tax and identity information) are entered directly with Stripe. We never receive or store full card or bank account numbers; we keep payment records such as amounts, dates, invoice numbers and payout status.
Automatically. Basic device and usage information (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) collected by our hosting and security providers, and browser storage needed to keep you signed in.
How we use it
- Match your project with approved roofers who serve your area, and deliver their quotes to you.
- Run each project: inspection booking, invoices, payments, payouts, progress updates and reviews.
- Send service messages by email, text and in-app notification (see "Text messages" below).
- Verify roofers, prevent fraud and abuse, secure accounts and comply with the law.
- Answer support requests and improve the Service.
Text messages
If you opt in by ticking the text-message box, we text you about your quotes, inspection, payments and project (homeowners) or leads and jobs (roofers). Giving us a phone number alone doesn't sign you up. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel,HELP for help. Opting out of texts doesn't affect emails. Texting is opt-in only — see our Text Message Terms. We do not share your mobile number or text messaging consent with third parties for their marketing.
Reviews and photos
Reviews you post are public and shown with your first name, last initial and city, along with the service. Completion photos a roofer posts are shown to the homeowner on the project page. Roof photos you upload are shared with matched roofers.
How long we keep it
We keep project, payment and account records for as long as your account is open and as needed for taxes, accounting, disputes and legal obligations (generally up to 7 years for payment records). You can ask us to delete your account and personal information at any time; we'll delete what we aren't required to keep.
Security
Information is encrypted in transit, access is restricted by account, and homeowner contact details are stored separately and released only to the roofer you choose. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and tell us right away if you think your account was misused.
Your choices and rights
You can request a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or close your account by emailing support@georgiaroofinghub.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy law, and we will honor them. We'll respond within 30 days.
Children
The Service is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We'll post any changes here and update the date above. For material changes we'll also notify you by email or on the site.
